Palm Beach
I go to Palm Beach quite a few times a year to visit friends and do some shopping. It’s always a great time. My brother lives there, so it’s also a wonderful opportunity to see family. Everyone always jokes that Palm Beach is the “city,” and Antigua is the “country.” And it really feels that way sometimes. This January I am also hosting a trunk show at one of my favorite shopping destinations, the Stubbs & Wootton store on Worth Avenue, so that will be a chance to catch up with people I haven’t seen in a while.

Shopping Destinations
One of my favorite things to do in Palm Beach is go furniture shopping.
There is always so much to see on “Antique Row.” It features great vintage pieces for the home that I ship to Antigua quite easily. Circa Who and Palm Beach Regency are some of my favorite shops.
Casa Gusto is a brand new store that has wonderful things. It joins the fabulous little shops along Georgia Avenue and South Dixie highway.
I love walking through Royal Poinciana Plaza - it’s such a fun way to spend an afternoon. The shopping there is great,
as are the restaurants. Lunch at Sant Ambroeus is a must. It’s a fun scene and the food is always great.
Another great option for dinner is Buccan.
Worth Avenue is iconic Palm Beach and home to the Aerin store, one of the first stores to carry AvA.
You can always find me wandering around the little hidden piazzas behind the street, and you can’t go wrong with any of the restaurants for dinner.
Intimate Accommodations
I like to be low-key in Palm Beach (if there is such a thing!) so I stay at the Brazilian Court Hotel, a boutique hotel that’s actually a historical landmark. It’s very elegant and features Spanish Colonial architecture, tropical courtyards and has a glamorous 1920’s appeal.
Carry-On Favorites
I never know what I’m going to pack until the last minute, of course, but here are the pieces I plan to wear in Palm Beach. They’re perfect for everything from lunch with friends to after-dinner drinks. Quintessential Palm Beach is festive yet relaxed with just a hint of glamour. Sounds absolutely perfect.
