Hanging At Home

Hanging at Home

It’s a difficult time for everyone around the world. We’re scared, we don’t know what the future holds, and life in general seems to be on pause. I’d like to think some good can come of this time of uncertainty. In light of social distancing, we are holding our loved ones a little tighter, taking time to reflect, setting new goals and trying to live in the moment. I know for me, the only way I slow down is if I’m being forced to, so I’m taking the time to focus on what’s important, like my husband, my family and the beauty that surrounds us.

That said, these days can get a little slow at times, so here is my official hit list, to keep yourself entertained during this time.

To Watch

I have always liked to wait and blow through an entire series. Some of my favorites have been:

The Morning Show

Jack Ryan

The Tunnel

Outlander

The Spanish Princess

To Play

There’s nothing better than taking out an old school board game or puzzle for some friendly family competition.
Here are my favorites.

Monopoly

Liberty Puzzles

To Relax

Finding a little calm everyday is essential during this stressful time.
Everyone finds it differently, but here’s how I stay centered
throughout the day.

Painting

Getting a healthy dose of Vitamin D in the sunshine

Walking through my garden

Long walks

Pilates at home

To Spend time with my Grandchildren

It can be hard entertaining little ones all day, but playing word games and card games is always a hit, especially if you let them win.
We love the following:

Hangman with my eight-year-old granddaughter.
(She knows all the words to Beatles songs and uses them in every game).

War

Dastardly

Drawing and/or painting
