In July, AvA threw their annual Newport Luncheon where guests wine and dined as they viewed selections from the new Sea Rose Collection. The event was a kickoff event to a weekend trunk show. Taking place in Ala’s own backyard, the garden seating was vibrant, spacious, and relaxing. Attendees are always VIP clients and closest friends. As tradition has it, AvA partnered with a jewelry brand for the event. This year it was Susie Holmes and her company MDVII which offers vintage jewelry from around the world. A perfect pairing for the travel inspired resort wear from AvA.
Inside the Sea Rose Fashion Show
The tablescape was colorful and beachy, originally painted by Ala, which complimented the brand’s new summer styles. Instant best sellers, the Rachel Sheer Mesh Poncho, Caterina Long Stretch Knit Dress, and Cassandra Mesh Duster were on full display with an immersive runway show. Models wearing the Seastrokes and Ocean Brush prints strutted the outdoor venue showcasing AvA’s flirtatious and sophisticated styles.
The Sea Rose Collection launched earlier this summer pulling inspiration from the calming blue sea and bright wild roses. Ending with a shopping frenzy, guests gravitated to the Ocean Brush and Papillon prints which flew off the shelves. Thank you to all of those that attended.
