During the first two weeks of November, AvA had the immense honor of being a part of the 2023 Charleston Literary Festival. With a brick and mortar in Charleston, AvA has deep roots in the area thus creating even more excitement to be a part of this neighborhood staple. The festival works to maintain an international perspective while building up and giving back to the local community.
Since 2017, they have featured authors from all over the world. AvA partnered with the festival to be a part of the first Saturday’s lineup of events. The brand offered an immersive fashion show at an invite only breakfast featuring their iconic clothing styles. Hosted a the stunning home of one of the festival's donors, the event took place just around the corner from the AvA storefront.
The nearly one hundred guests “oooed” and “awed” over the thirty looks showcased that morning. They viewed the recent holiday collection including a look at our Lucia Silk Slip Dress in both Rose Noir and Rose Rouge as well as our statement-making Delphina Silk Organza Cape. The four models also sported the Odyssey Collection as well. Attendees left with a custom AvA bookmark which held a code they could use while shopping later at their store.
AvA proudly offered 20% of their proceeds during those two weeks to go back to the festival. Thank you to the Charleston Literary Festival for having us and thank you to all of the guests who received our new collection with open arms.
